The answer to the legality question, is commercial uav use legal for aerial real estate video? This is an easy one to answer. In short, yes. In order for commercial use of UAVs/remote controlled model airplanes to be illegal there would have to be federal statute, federal regulation and case law that in any way
regulates the operation of RCMA. There isn’t. As a matter of fact the FAA is in the process of coming up with such laws and has reported they will have regulations in place by next year. So, for now, I’m going to continue to move forward with my work on aerial real estate video for agents and property owners.

Sky Eye will always have the permission to fly anywhere, period. This will include letting neighbors know that we will be collecting photographs and video imagery of the property next door and we will always strive to keep their personal property out of the shots.
